A parking and drop off point have been assigned for participants who are on floats or walking with groups ONLY.  Drop off point for parade participants is either at the corner of Ste Angelique and Montee St Robert or at the St Lazare Sports Complex, a shuttle bus will bring you to the beginning of the parade.

The parade will have a shuttle bus leaving The St Lazare Sports Complex parking area and dropping participants at corner of Ste Angelique and Montee St Robert, where all the floats will be assembled.  This shuttle will be available from 10 a.m. till 12:15 a.m.

There will be a Parade Marshal instructing your organization as to where to line up.  We expect all organizations to be ready at noon.

VERY IMPORTANT

There is only one access street permitted to line up for the parade.  Access is allowed only in the WEST DIRECTION on Montee St Robert.  Please see attached map as to official directions.  Your co-operation will enable everyone to set up in plenty of time, and without unnecessary headaches.  Please note that Ste Angelique will be closed to traffic from 1300 hrs to 1430. Only parade participants will be given access to the closed section.

For those participating in the parade, your arrival time at the corner of Ste Angelique and Montee St Robert is expected no later than 11 a.m. Please aim to have your float assembled by 11:50 a.m.

We place a strong emphasis on the safety of participants and spectators.

Any unit that does not conform to the rules and regulations of the Soulanges Irish Society will be removed from the parade. A copy of the rules and regulations will be included with this package.  Please read the rules of our expectations.

AT THE END OF THE PARADE 

The parade will officially end at the corner of Ste Angelique and rue des Cedres at the Auclair School.  No one will be allowed to disembark their floats until they reach the school. This will allow for better parade flow. There will be a temporary disembarking at that point.

There will be buses operating to shuttle people from the end point of the parade back to the staging area at St Lazare Sports Complex.

PLEASE RESPECT AND LISTEN TO ALL PARADE MARSHALS ON THE STREET.  THEY WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE FLOW OF THE PARADE.
